Next terrorist, or its next intended victim? This is a disturbing thought, yes?

This afternoon a friend of mine brought to my attention that ANYONE could be a terrorist. He not only told me how easy it is to buy explosives and bomb parts but he sent me a link on where to buy them!!!!!!!EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will not share the link nor the items themselves but I was disgusted by the ease in which anyone could buy them. I didn't see so much as an age restriction!

Our children are the real victims. They are either the ones who wind up getting their hands on the stuff or saddly the intended victims!

Well, I'm as pissed about the gas prices as the next guy but we need fuel to drive. Should we go the way of MASS TRANSIT? Okay, if GLOBAL WARMING hasn't frightened you into not wasting gas, the prices sure will! I myself paid $4.19 today and that was after I passed a place where it was $4.29. Right now, why wife in Bucuresti tells me that its well over $5.00 a gallon. What will we do??????????????????????????????????????????

THEN CAME THE RAIN

I was out this afternoon trying my hardest to get my yard looking better. I bought about $100.00 worth of flowers at three different places. It was a beautiful sunny and hot day. On my way home it began to get dark, then darker still. I unloaded my flowers and set off to work. Crouched, I stabbed my trowel into the earth and BOOM a thunder clap! Then came the rain. Sprinkles to start the a roaring torrential down pour! The rain seemed evil, seemed angry as the dusty lawn turned to a raging torrent and the street turned into a river. A flash flood of small proportions if there ever was one.

Memorial Day Reflections


Memorial Day is a good time to reflect on the sacrifices and services of the our soldiers and veterans that make up the men and women serving in the militaries of the US, ROMANIA, and GREAT BRITAIN. Our militaries have, and always will recruit the best and finest of the crop of young men and women of their said countries, and we will continue to shower them with appreciation, support and prayers, as we have always done. Memorial Day is just an opportunity for us to express the special places they have in the hearts of our citizenry and more by honoring the people who work in the various branches of the military. The horrific tragedy of September 11, 2001, has stirred all and reawakened the spirit of patriotism in all hearts and unity and oneness binds all Americans in a special bond. The words 'United We Stand' , 'God Bless America' , Traiasca Romania, Noi suntem poporul , God save the Queen, Long may she reign, still hold the power to stir out hearts on this very special day. Let the feelings of true patriotism and love for all those who have risked their lives for the sake of our families and very freedom show by putting up American, or Romanian, or even British flags in front of your houses, have parties with patriotic themes to honor military and ex-military men and women in your neighborhood and community. It is a good idea to coax them into telling more about their experiences with the military and on the warfront and you may get an opportunity to hear some exceptional real tales that you may have not even imagined about.

Craft is everywhere.

Since September, 1998, more than 153 people have been murdered in East Java by groups of men clad in black wearing Ninja-style masks. The victims have been mostly Muslim clerics, black magicians and other people accused of sorcery.
The killers have struck against the sorcerers at night, cutting their throats and sometimes hanging their mutilated bodies in trees or tossing them in the street. Victims sometimes have been cut into small pieces and their body parts thrown into mosques.
Shocked by the mysterious murders, Indonesia's justice minister proposed outlawing black magic. In scenes reminiscent of the Salem witch hunts, mobs have also attacked and killed people suspected of being black magicians. Police have arrested more than 100 suspects, but acknowledge there's no clear motive for the grisly slayings.
Justice Minister Muladi blamed the mayhem on the sorcerers themselves and said that anyone who openly claims they can kill or hurt others with black magic should be punished. "That would be one way to resolve the witchcraft issue," added Muladi.
The commander of the Indonesian armed forces said that he had ordered police to bring an end to the mayhem According to Lieutenant-Colonel Isnarno, lynchings have increased as locals, tired of the failure of the police to solve the killings, have started to attack anyone suspected of being involved in the murder spree. Police say at least 10 murder suspects have been killed in east Java alone.
Indonesia's military -- though suspected of being involved in the killings -- has pledged to solve the mystery behind the wave of gruesome murders asap. Analysts have pointed to the butchery as another sign of the lawlessness that hit Indonesia after the economic and political crisis that led to the downfall of President Suharto in May.
